[Some context: This is a picture of me watching the Olympics.]
[This is also me watching the Olympics at work.]
[At home, talking about how I went so far as to take my flag to work to watch the Olympics:]
Mom: Wow, you are so extroverted.
Me: Hahaha, I thought you were about to say that I’m so extra and I was like, ooh Mom knows some slang?!
Mom: You’re so extra what?
Mom: Wait, you didn’t finish, you’re so extra WHAT?
[Me already up close and personal with my toddler client]
His Dad: Just so you know, he’s on medication for pink eye, so you know…wash your hands. …He’s not contagious though!
[Standing with my dad at a funeral. My mom went off to find a bathroom. A man who is giving flower seeds to all the guests approaches us.]
Man: [handing one to my dad] Here are flower seeds for you, sir.
Dad: Thank you.
Man: [handing one to me] And one for your wife.
